| The Consumer Electronics Association held their Industry Forum in October, 2005. They shared a number of interesting surveys and industry forecasts. They are predicting that this holiday season will yield a 9% increase in Consumer Electronics sales over last year. While consumers say they will buy fewer gifts, CEA believes that these gifts will be more expensive. The iPod is causing much of the holiday excitement. Several division meetings were held during the forum, including one on the expanded Multi-Room Audio Video group and the Video division. Both had some interesting news for people concerned about the "Digital Home".
