Walt Mossberg, technology editor for the Wall Street Journal, started with a keynote that added a dose of reality. A panel of venture capital partners listed what areas they are interested in, and Geoff Yang of RedPoint Ventures listed six myths in the industry. A live focus group was conducted with seven real consumers, and the audience got another dose of reality. The report introduces you to the consumers and tells you what they said to a series of questions from the moderator, almost as if you were behind the two-way mirror.
